Here at House of Prayer and Worship, it is our belief that the door to salvation is always open and so are the doors to our church.  We believe in the totality of the word from Genesis to Revelations.  We practice the word of God and the manifestation of His spirit.  We strive to be fully devoted to Jesus by opening our arms to those in search of the truth. We show God’s love and concern for our fellow man at every opportunity. Our mission is to train and raise leaders and missionaries who will go to the nations to preach the good news of God to people of all races, colors, and creeds.

 

House of Prayer and Worship is led by Bishop Joe Nelson and Selina Nelson and is located at 13685 Baltimore Avenue in Laurel, MD.  A variety of ministries, fellowship opportunities, and services are offered to serve the needs of our members.  The church has a new Graphic Design School, Leadership Bible School, and Christian Counseling Services.  To find out more about joining either school, or to book an appointment for a counseling session, please click here
